Guests stay in 6 fully air-conditioned luxury tents, each with its own en-suite bathroom and outdoor shower. The camp is configured as follows:

2 tents with queen-sized beds

Starlink Wi-Fi is available throughout the entire lodge, allowing you to stay connected even in the heart of nature.

Game Drives

Our privileged location along the border with Botswana, Zambia, and Namibia grants us access to extensive populations of wildlife.

We host lion, leopard, buffalo, elephant, giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, impala, eland, warthog, hyena, jackal, and many more curious creatures.

Our network of bush roads covers hundreds of kilometres, allowing us to experience the wilder depths of the bush.

Game drives range from 2-8 hours, depending on the season of the year and your preferences.

River Beach


Unwind on our private white sand river beach as the Katambora Rapids rush by. Surrounded by Zambezi forest, it’s the perfect spot to relax with your feet in the sand, enjoy a quiet moment, or share a drink at sunset.

Includes Zimbabwean beer, soft drinks, water, and light snacks (chips, fruit, nuts). Wine available at an additional cost.

Please note: crocodiles may be nearby—caution is advised.

Fishing

Try your luck with tigerfish, bream, nkupe, and more on a private stretch of the Zambezi River. With 25 km of exclusive access, our custom-built boat and expert skipper offer unforgettable fishing or relaxed sunset cruises.

Bird Watching

With habitats ranging from riverbanks to waterholes, Matetsi 6 is a haven for birdlife. Spot the brilliant Schalow’s turaco, vultures, eagles, hawks, bee-eaters, kingfishers, and even the giant Kori bustard. Enjoy peaceful viewing from our bird hut, shaded and lookout points across the area.

Waterhole Tour with Bush Walks

Explore Matetsi 6 on foot and by safari vehicle as we visit key waterholes that sustain our wildlife. With 5 boreholes spread across the reserve, this tour offers a rare chance to quietly approach these vital lifelines and witness animals up close in their natural rhythm. The experience includes short bush walks for silent approaches, enhancing your connection to the wild.

Duration: 6–8 hours, depending on the season. Includes a bush lunch.

Star Gazing

From April to October, the clear dry-season skies above Matetsi 6 offer excellent conditions for star gazing. Located far from city lights, our remote setting enjoys dark, open skies illuminated by the Milky Way and shooting stars.

We will set up loungers on the lawn with pillows and blankets for your comfort. Drinks can be ordered, and the pool remains open for those who’d like to float beneath the stars. This relaxing experience is complimentary for all guests and available on clear nights—weather permitting.
