Matetsi 6 is located along a private 25 km stretch of the Zambezi River in northwestern Zimbabwe, just west of Victoria Falls. Spanning 700 km² of pristine wilderness, the reserve borders Botswana, Zambia, and Namibia—offering unmatched access to wildlife, riverfront, and remote African landscapes.

Our mission is to protect and restore Zimbabwe’s wildlife and ecosystems while offering guests meaningful, immersive experiences in nature. Through sustainable tourism, conservation-driven practices, and deep respect for the land, we aim to inspire a lasting connection between people and the wild.
Your Hosts
Karel and Annatjie Strydom have dedicated their lives to Zimbabwe’s wilderness. With decades of experience in wildlife conservation and safari operations, they have helped grow and protect animal populations across the country. As your hosts, they bring heartfelt hospitality, deep local knowledge, and a lifelong passion for the bush.
