River Beach Experience at the Katambora Rapids

Unwind at one of the most spectacular spots in Matetsi 6—our private white sand river beach beside the powerful Katambora Rapids. As the Zambezi River surges over ancient rocks, it creates a dramatic natural soundtrack, while soft, fine sand and Zambezi forest surround you in untamed beauty.

The experience begins with a 20–30 minute drive from the lodge, offering a strong chance of spotting wildlife along the way. Once we arrive, we light a fire, settle into the sand, and enjoy the golden glow of the afternoon. Whether you’re relaxing, taking photos, or simply soaking in the atmosphere, it’s a perfect moment to connect with nature.
